It is not how you run the Race, It is how you finish the Race

Today was a special day for me. I woke up and had energy. I wanted to do something besides lay in bed or achieve oneness with my couch. Today I woke up, showered and put on some hiking clothes. I took my daughter with me.
Three things were accomplished by this.
1. We got exercise
2. We had alone/bonding time
3. We created a memory that will last a lifetime.
What did you do with your Sunday?

Like most of you out there I made a resolution to change. To change my finances, health, etc... So many times I made a good start but ended up getting lost along the way. In short I never finished the race. I was so focused on how I was running it that I forgot to finish it. I am so happy to have figured this out. Now I know that what I really want is to finish this run to fitness and health. I may slip up along the way but as long as I finish the race, that is all that really matters.
I want to challenge you all to exercise with me every Sunday. This should not be something to dread. Instead turn it into family time or time spent with friends. Whatever you do make it fun and make a memory from it. You will find that as you incorporate a weekly routine what was once dreaded will now be something to look forward to.
